The Halloween Party
I know many of you don't like the costume I have allowed my daughter to wear. At this time I am not going to justify or explain my reasoning. I will however, debate all you want at another time. She wanted to look scary it was just a costume, NOT who she is. She is more loving, caring, and compassionate than many of us. She had a wonderful time. SHE ALSO WON BEST COSTUME!!! She is growing up more everyday, and I'm glad I'm part of it.

Gosh, I'm sorry Shell. I think Mom and I got to you a little last night. I didn't mean to.
I think Maddie looks AWESOME! I would prefer her to look beautiful as a fairy or princess or tinkerbell or something cute and girly like that. However, she looks beautiful as a vampiress also!! Honestly, she probably looks more beautiful as the vampiress because she's doin' it her way, the way she wants to be. Best costume, I think that says it all.
I stand corrected....Madeline looked great. I am so happy that she had a good time, and won best costume. I know that was a shot in the self-esteem...again...I stand corrected....I was wrong. Love, Mom
I really liked her hair! I have a feeling tha tyou may want to get that down to a science - that's too cute for her not to wear it like that again!!
Awesome costume! I'll be calling you for tips on the make-up thing...Melyssa wants to be a dead waitress...and I need to know how you got it off!!
LOVE the pix of Mads after Brandon!! How'd the game go?
I'm not mad at anyone. I know everyone meant well.
And Em the secret to removal is steam. Maddie did a quick removal with a washcloth before she got in the shower. The black around her eyes was actually done with eyeliner, so it was going to take a little bit to get off. When she got in the shower she was in there for ever, but the steam from the shower "melted" for lack of a better word most of the makeup off, and just a washcloth was used after that. She didn't want to get soap in her eyes, so I know steam was the secret.
