Thanksgiving 2007

Thanksgiving 2007 was indeed a good time. My gang, Pooh's gang, Mom, and Heather & Casey were all here to celebrate Thanksgiving. Our Thanksgiving I think is somewhat different than what Martha Stewart's Thanksgiving would be. Dress attire is your nicer pair of jeans. Maddie decided to wear a skirt, she did look lovely. (She can pick dressing up as her rebellious out cry any day) We do have a kids' table, as they are getting older they kinda sit on the couch behind that table. The boys had their tv trays with the football game on, and the rest of us find room amongst the food at the table. It really works out for everyone this way. The men are happy, the kids are happy, and the women are happy. It is a very casual family gathering. I was very very happy with how everything went yesterday. Now to explain some of the photos. Instead of helping with the last minute preparations. Little Miss sneaky pants Pooh Bear decided to embrace that childhood memory with her child and sneak some food ahead of time. It was too cute, of course catching her made me steal a deviled egg, which mom added a new dimension to the eggs by adding bacon bits and chives. Everyone helped do something this year I do mean everyone. Sierra, Maddie and Bub helped clean the night before. Brian stacked and sorted all pop. Pooh, Mom, and Heather made something for dinner. Sienna provided dancing after dinner. And then there was Levi, what could the baby do? He decided himself to be in charge of Lola. It was too cute watching him very gently walk around with Lola on the leash.

It was so nice to be with everyone; I sincerely honor family, and I loved every moment. You outdid yourself, Michelle. I'm still eating Wendy's glazed chicken. Heather's green bean casserole was delicious! PS...Is everyone tired from the 3:00 AM shopping spree? You girls never cease to amaze me. You both ceased the moment and made it happen.
