Maddie finished out her 8th grade year with a class trip to Washington D.C.. She had a blast!! On day one her camera broke (I sent her with the digital camera and the entire screen is cracked.) She still could use it like a disposable camera so she did. They went on charter buses to see the reenactment of Gettysburg, seen the monuments, Smithsonian, National Cathedral, and a lot of other great things in Washington. One of her biggest things she talked about was the dinner cruise they took on a boat. They also had a DJ on the ship so the kids had a ball. She's growing up so fast. She'll be a freshman this year and it makes me feel a little older. The time flies so so so quickly.
